EDUCATION BACKGROUND
Past Positions
I come from a rural village in northern China, and my family attaches great importance to my education. Through studying, I have constantly moved away from my hometown, from rural (elementary school), and town (middle school) to county (high school), a small city (university), big city (master's degree). I studied advertising, which I loved, and the year I graduated, I became interested in anthropology, so I went to study for a master's degree in ethnology.

When I was studying advertising, I became interested in consumer sociology and cultural anthropology. So I chose to study for a master's degree in ethnology. During my master's study, my research mainly focused on transnational marriage and love (Chinese and African families in Guangzhou), Chinese family changes (I followed Mr. Jieyu from SOAS to do a Chinese family oral history project), folk beliefs (Research on Folk Beliefs in Northern China), etc.

I have been interested in advertising since I was a child, and I chose this major when I was in college. During my studies, I actively participated in off-campus practice (Tai'an Daily, Canxing Media, etc.), and also won awards in some domestic advertising competitions (the second prize in the National College Student Advertising Competition). My graduation project is an outdoor exhibition with the theme of RMB, which is the first outdoor exhibition for students in our university. My university is next to Mount Tai, and I can often go to the mountain to find inspiration.

I come from a family with a strong cultural and business atmosphere. My mom was a teacher and later ran a bookstore. Influenced by my family, I have always wanted to start my own business and hope to create value in my work. When I was in middle school, I started selling stationery and magazines at school, which not only allowed me to earn money, but also experienced the charm of business. Since I was 18 years old, I have tried to intern in newspapers, media companies and other places, I am good at and enjoy interviews, creative advertising copywriting, etc., but also like Chinese education. Now I'm exploring a new way of working, and in 2022 I started my own workshop and now it has brought me some income.

After graduating with a master's degree, I chose to go to the Philippines to be a Chinese teacher, and since then I have started my Chinese teacher career.

In a K12 school, I am responsible for teaching Chinese to students in grades 2, 3, 6, and 8. I like to let students feel the charm of Chinese culture through movies, games, music, etc. I think it's really important to get them interested in a language.

After finishing teaching in the Philippines, I returned to Guangzhou and started working as an independent Chinese teacher. My students include foreign teachers from universities, multinational employees of NetEase, independent artists living in Guangzhou, etc.
PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
Since participating in the first drama "The Way of the Vagina" in 2015, I have been studying and participating in drama performances. Improvisational drama, experimental drama, Wing Chun, Wuta... I draw experience from different art forms to make my performance style more natural and unique.

In this play, I play the female star who wants to be Carmen. In order to play this role well, I learned flamenco dancing. Before that, the female characters I played were very weak and even tragic. I like to show my self-confidence and pride in the play, which makes me feel very powerful.
AN ODYSSEY IN AN EGGSHELL

This is a sci-fi work based on a traditional story, and it is also my first performance in an art gallery. In this play, I play the role of a ghost wandering in the universe, expressing the story in the form of a Greek chorus. This is my first time singing in a show, it was a challenge and a great experience!

PHOTOGRAPHY
I have been interested in photography since I was a child, and when I got my first camera at the age of 18, I started my photography journey.
In the four years from 2011 to 2015, my subjects were mostly portraits. In 2015, I became interested in humanistic photography and pure art photography and began to shoot on the street.
In 2020, I started a street photography project called "Pai Pai Nearby", which photographed the street landscapes and people in my neighborhood every day, which allowed me to establish a strong connection with the city.
In addition, I also like to photograph my own body, which is always loyal and authentic in a chaotic society, which is our best creative material. Since 2021, I have started to design photography courses and workshops to bring more people to feel the charm of photography therapy.

Fo Shan
In an abandoned villa area, I exhibited the buildings and people photographed in the Philippines. In addition to beaches, sea turtles, and coconut groves, the cultural landscape of the Philippines is also worthy of attention. This exhibition is a joint exhibition with a Spanish artist. Guangzhou is his south, and Palawan is my south. Together, we will show the south in our respective eyes to the audience.
